Since planting Oxygen Life Church in April 2002 I have developed relationships with pastors/elders of churches from all around the world. For many years I gave myself (and led those in our church) to a primary and exclusive relationship with an Apostolic/Prophetic Team of men and women called N.C.M.I. The bulk of the friendships which I, and in turn our church have, are with pastors/elders who related to this team. We are SO grateful to God for what He has done up to now through this team of devoted people and local churches and want to honour the Holy Spirit’s work in and through each person and church. Many of the links to churches found on this site are to these churches.
However, at the end of 2008 we embarked on a journey which saw us end our exclusive/primary relationship with N.C.M.I. as we knew it up until then. Our desire was never to separate ourselves for the sake of independence, but rather for more DEPENDENCE on the Holy Spirit. Also, so that we could more purposefully pursue relationships and partnerships outside of the team of people we had come to know and love. We knew and anticipated greater fruitfulness among us as a local body, and deeper, more specific partnerships with fewer individuals and their churches. Thus, more refined and robust relationships with evolving partnerships are, at present, the order of the day. So, on this site there are some pastor/elders and the churches which they lead with which we are walking more intimately and intentionally with than others. We have put all of these together on this page. Feel free to go and visit their sites and take a look at some of the people and their churches we know and have friendship with.

My parents have struggled financially for years (almost 10 years now). Through these tough situations is how I actually came to rely on God and give my life over to Him (2004-ish). Through the years, my parents have asked me for money and sometimes I’ve loaned them money and sometimes I haven’t. Early on through wisdom from elders, I learnt that I should never “loan” money, I should rather “give” money with no expectation of receiving it back so that there is freedom in giving and no guilt put onto a relationship or a person. This was difficult for me as I thought in order to honour and respect my parents (a commandment) I needed to help them when they needed help. I had to make a stand for Jesus in my life and say that I couldn’t help them financially anymore. I had to separate myself from my earthly parents and follow what my Heavenly Father says is right and true. 2 Corinthians 12:14 “… After all, children should not have to save up for their parents, but parents for their children”.
