The Gospel of Jesus Christ truly is Good News!
Scripture tells us that there is no other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved. Jesus alone came to reconcile the world to God. When we were dead in our sin and without hope, Christ died for us and became our substitute. He cancelled the debt of sin that ruled over our lives once for all. This is something we couldn’t do for ourselves.
Jesus, through this selfless act of love and His subsequent resurrection, has opened the way to the Father. When we make right with Him, we become new creations, set free in the eyes of God. We enter into a living, meaningful relationship with God Almighty who calls us to intimacy with Him. We become part of a new family in Christ, with an eternal inheritance awaiting us. Thank you Jesus!
We believe this Good News of salvation is not just for a privileged few, but that God desires ALL to be saved. 2 Corinthians 5:19-20 says that God has entrusted to us as believers this message of reconciliation and calls us to be ambassadors for Him.
We have this mandate then:
Oxygen Life Church has, and will always be, committed to preaching the Gospel. Jesus came to make the Father’s redemptive heart known. We want to do the same. The manner in which we do this can take on many forms, whether it is in groups, or in partnership with other churches in other cities and other nations.
It’s about going beyond our four walls as a “sent” people, sharing our faith with others.

My parents have struggled financially for years (almost 10 years now). Through these tough situations is how I actually came to rely on God and give my life over to Him (2004-ish). Through the years, my parents have asked me for money and sometimes I’ve loaned them money and sometimes I haven’t. Early on through wisdom from elders, I learnt that I should never “loan” money, I should rather “give” money with no expectation of receiving it back so that there is freedom in giving and no guilt put onto a relationship or a person. This was difficult for me as I thought in order to honour and respect my parents (a commandment) I needed to help them when they needed help. I had to make a stand for Jesus in my life and say that I couldn’t help them financially anymore. I had to separate myself from my earthly parents and follow what my Heavenly Father says is right and true. 2 Corinthians 12:14 “… After all, children should not have to save up for their parents, but parents for their children”.
