"And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honour and glory and might forever and ever!" And the four living creatures said, "Amen!" and the elders fell down and worshipped."   (Rev 5:13-14)

What an amazing picture we see in heaven of worship! Our exalted Jesus, the sacrificial Lamb, who once for all paid the ransom for our sin with His own body and shed blood, is alone worthy of the highest praise!

There can be no greater expression of our lives than to worship our God; to join with all heaven and creation in giving Him the honour that He alone deserves. This call to worship is not just a song that we sing. It is an overflow of appreciation to our God from hearts that have been touched by His grace, mercy and love. It is a consecration of our lives in every action and purpose to give Jesus honour and glory. It is an act of love to Him who first loved us and gave His life for us.

King David wrote in Psalm 108:3-5, “I will give thanks to you, O LORD, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations. For your steadfast love is great above the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth!”

Our heart as a music team in Oxygen Life Church is to exalt the name of Jesus in melody and song, firstly among ourselves as a people and then also among the nations. An essential part of this team is our gifted sound engineers, who play a vital role in us hosting God’s presence well in our meetings. Whatever the instrument, the goal is the same: to see and hear many lives, worshipping our glorious Lord with one voice!

We, with our leaders, also have a desire to see His glory manifested in our meetings whenever we lift up His name. Sincere worship always ushers in the supernatural, because scripture tells us that God is enthroned in the praises of His people. We believe that the Lord WANTS to meet with us and that there is NO impossibility for Him! For us, this means that in His wonderful presence, broken lives can be restored; sick bodies healed; weary hearts strengthened and souls become saved, as we worship our Almighty God! Amen!
