When kids leave this age group, we want them to know:
God is my friend.
In this age group we believe that the kids’ relationship should go even deeper. Their perception of who God is, is so important at this age and we try to learn how good God is. He is not an old man in heaven who punishes us for our sins. He is a loving father and close friend.
We try to teach much of what we do through games with this age group. Most kids at this age also have basic reading and writing skills and we start doing activities that incorporate writing words and lots of colouring in.

Just want to share a testimony with you this morning of God's goodness to us.
Roger and I prayed yesterday morning and asked God to help us to be wise with our finances and also to please provide for us as things are really tight this month. When Rog got back from cycling this morning, he had been given R1000.
The person who gave him the money did not know about anything and said he felt like giving it to us, so he did. Rog told him about our prayer afterwards.
I'm so overwhelmed with how much God loves us and that he really does care and hear our prayers that I just cant stop crying this morning! I woke up this morning knowing that I had spent the very last money in my wallet last night and was trying to think what I can do and how long the petrol in my car will still last. When I was driving to work later and thinking about it all again, I felt the words "Not this time my girl" and just realised God is saying to me that I dont have to make a plan to get out of a tough situation. He is our provider and He already has a plan, I must just follow it.
Wow, how awesome is our God? Absolutely amazing!
