The very word “community” sounds like a combination of two words – common and unity. For us as a church, community does speak of a common faith and unity around the Person of Christ. However, it also speaks to us of fellowship, true friendships, real relationships, accountability, caring, and sharing together.
Although we do have meetings on specific evenings where the different community groups come together, we see community as more than a meeting. Rather, it is a lifestyle of togetherness, discipleship, generosity and the sharing of God’s love among us. Commitment to meetings is encouraged, but more so, commitment to those within the community is stressed.
We see community as the place for people to rise to their full potential in the Lord. It is where their giftings are released and where people are brought to maturity in Christ. Those with leadership giftings are recognised, raised and released within the Body. The believers are encouraged to come together as we see the early Church doing so in the Book of Acts – to fellowship, worship, encourage one another, pray, break bread and study the Word. Everyone can come with a word, a teaching, a song, a hymn, a prophecy or a testimony and bring it to the group, working in conjunction with the community leader. This is where the gifts are exercised. This is where people grow in the Lord. This is where doctrine is broken down into practical living.
In short, communities are the life blood of the Church.
Here is a list of our communities. Phone numbers are not published on the website. To contact the community leaders, please phone the church office on (041) 581 8633.

My parents have struggled financially for years (almost 10 years now). Through these tough situations is how I actually came to rely on God and give my life over to Him (2004-ish). Through the years, my parents have asked me for money and sometimes I’ve loaned them money and sometimes I haven’t. Early on through wisdom from elders, I learnt that I should never “loan” money, I should rather “give” money with no expectation of receiving it back so that there is freedom in giving and no guilt put onto a relationship or a person. This was difficult for me as I thought in order to honour and respect my parents (a commandment) I needed to help them when they needed help. I had to make a stand for Jesus in my life and say that I couldn’t help them financially anymore. I had to separate myself from my earthly parents and follow what my Heavenly Father says is right and true. 2 Corinthians 12:14 “… After all, children should not have to save up for their parents, but parents for their children”.
